Micah 6:8 Storytelling Series
During Black History Month, the Micah 6:8 Ministry continues our storytelling series of ministries in our parish gleaned through interviews with key parishioners. One of our longtime members to be featured is John Gist. We will share John’s story Feb. 22!
On Mar. 1, Bruce Randall’s and Regeana Phillips’ stories will be shared. Not long after Bruce and the Randall family joined St. Mary in 1986, a “fiery” nun named Sister Roberta gave a talk after Mass about church involvement. Come hear the amazing story of how Bruce’s ministry evolved over the past 30 years. For over 50 years, Regeana has shared her many gifts and talents in a variety of ministries at St. Mary’s and is a well-known name for her energies and contributions in community involvement, leadership, and coordination. She has served in a variety of roles including usher, greeter, Eucharistic minister, organizer, and implementer. Regeana is also a co-founder of Her Place. Please come and help us continue our celebration of St. Mary’s as a historically African American parish.
